Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee our ground works projects. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the construction activities on site, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to the project plans and specifications. This is a challenging role that requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of ground works processes.
This role is long term for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage all activities on the construction site.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor progress and report on project status to senior management.
Manage and supervise a team of workers, including subcontractors.
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success.
Control and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and budget forecasting.Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in groundworks or construction management
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, including foundation installation, site preparation, and drainage systems
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in construction software and tools
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different project locations as required.
