About the role:
We're seeking a dedicated individual to fill this full-time position, starting immediately. This role is available due to a recent retirement, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our team. As a full-time position, successful candidates will be expected to work Monday to Friday. Our recruitment process
involves two stages:
An initial face-to-face interview with the hiring panel followed by participation in a trial day to observe your teaching skills in action. Application Requirements:
• The ideal candidate holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong passion for teaching Key Stage 1 students.
• Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive education, with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Shows enthusiasm, creativity, and resilience in the classroom, creating engaging and inspiring learning environments that promote curiosity and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, fostering a love for learning and academic achievement among students.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/carers to support academic growth and attainment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of students, participating in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the school community.
