The responsibilities are diverse and encompass a range of technical, PM and manufacturing tasks to ensure that retail spaces, displays, fixtures (FF&E), and other design elements are both aesthetically compelling and functionally robust. Keen eye for detail and flair when presenting to clients, you will be engaging and aspirational in ensuring a luxury execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed design intent drawings, specifications, and construction documents.nDevelop accurate CAD drawings, 3D models, and visualizations to communicate design intent clearly.nEnsure that all technical drawings meet industry standards and project requirements.nWork closely with creative designers, architects, and project managers to understand the design vision and requirements.nLiaise with suppliers, contractors, and fabricators to ensure that designs are feasible and can be executed within budget and time constraints.nParticipate in design meetings, presentations, and client reviews.nIdentify and select appropriate suppliers and manufacturers based on project requirements, budget, and quality standards.nConduct site visits to oversee the implementation of designs, ensuring they are executed as per the technical drawings and specifications.nPerform quality checks and ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and brand standards.nStay updated on the latest materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes relevant to retail design.nMake recommendations on materials and construction techniques that enhance the design and functionality of retail environments.nAssist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.nProvide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.

Key Skills:

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modeling tool SketchUp, and visualization software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion), knowledge of Solidworks.nMust have 3-5 years proven track record of delivering interior architectural projects.nAbility to create SketchUp visuals and bespoke FF&E, and overall design intent drawings.nExperience in leading critical supplier negotiations for timelines and costs.nStrong organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.nStrong knowledge methods, and practices within the luxury design industry.
