Spatial 3D Designer

The responsibilities are diverse and encompass a range of technical, PM and manufacturing tasks to ensure that retail spaces, displays, fixtures (FF&E), and other design elements are both aesthetically compelling and functionally robust. Keen eye for detail and flair when presenting to clients, you will be engaging and aspirational in ensuring a luxury execution.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create detailed design intent drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Develop accurate CAD drawings, 3D models, and visualizations to communicate design intent clearly.
  • Ensure that all technical drawings meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Work closely with creative designers, architects, and project managers to understand the design vision and requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and fabricators to ensure that designs are feasible and can be executed within budget and time constraints.
  • Participate in design meetings, presentations, and client reviews.
  • Identify and select appropriate suppliers and manufacturers based on project requirements, budget, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee the implementation of designs, ensuring they are executed as per the technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks and ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes relevant to retail design.
  • Make recommendations on materials and construction techniques that enhance the design and functionality of retail environments.
  • Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.


Key Skills:


  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modeling tool SketchUp, and visualization software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion), knowledge of Solidworks.
  • Must have 3-5 years proven track record of delivering interior architectural projects.
  • Ability to create SketchUp visuals and bespoke FF&E, and overall design intent drawings.
  • Experience in leading critical supplier negotiations for timelines and costs.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge methods, and practices within the luxury design industry.
