A Detailer/Draughtsman is required in an established Structural and Architectural Steel company based in Sittingbourne.
Role Overview: The position offers two potential pathways:
Detailer / Draughtsman: Focusing on creating detailed drawings and designs using advanced steel software.
Detailer with Project Management: Combining detailing with project management responsibilities. This role involves overseeing projects from drafting through to workshop production, installation, and final account negotiation.Responsibilities:
Create detailed technical drawings using advanced steel software.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet specifications.
For dual role candidates: manage projects, coordinate with workshop and installation teams, and handle client negotiations.Qualifications:
Proficiency in advanced steel software.
Strong attention to detail and technical drawing skills.
Project management experience (for dual role candidates) is an advantage.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Package:
Start date is ASAP
Job Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: up to £50K with overtime.
