We are now recruiting an Accounts Payable Officer for Imperial London Hotel Group
As the first point of contact for all supplier queries you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective and professional credit control system for the group to ensure all invoices are paid on time.
Key Duties will include the following:
* Process all Purchase invoices, ensuring that all orders raised are matched correctly to supplier invoices
* Ensure purchase invoices / credit notes/ payments are processed on Role Centre in time to close the accounts for moth end.
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Perform payment runs
* Prepare expenses & Cost of goods analysis by dimensions to endure correct allocations
* Run Age Creditors report for month end update deputy Head of Accounts with any issues.
What we would like from you
* Previous knowledge of accounting principles and procedures gained within a similar role or pre or previous experience in statement reconciliation
* Ideally you will be working towards an AAT qualification or studying accounting with basic bookkeeping knowledge
* Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics Nav would be beneficial
* Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
* Highly numerate with great attention to detail and accuracy
* A confident and engaging manner with ability to build rapport quickly with suppliers and internal customers.
* Excellent organisational skills and time management skills with the ability to balance different priorities
* You will have a good level of spoken and written English
