One of the UK’s largest Property Management companies, Residential Management Group, has an opportunity for an experienced Property Support Services Director, to deliver core property management support services and oversee compliance of our property portfolio. Reporting to our newly appointed Managing Director, you will support in delivering the Business Plan and profit targets.


This role is hybrid, based a couple of days a week at our Northwich Office, leading and supporting a variety of functions – insurance, fire risk management, property compliance, contractor management and key client management. There will also be the requirement to attend other RMG sites.


What are some of the responsibilities in your role as Property Support Services Director?


  • Manage the Insurance Captive in line with Financial Services Authority guidelines.
  • Advise the Board of service improvement requirements, to support the delivery of the Business Plan.
  • Ensure compliant management of our property portfolio, in line with the Building Safety Act 2022Fire Safety (England) Regulations and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
  • Lead the Osterna fire safety business entity, in line with profitability targets, client expectations and industry legislation.
  • Oversee the delivery of external contractor services for our clients.


What knowledge, skills and experience will you have?


Essential:

  • Financial control experience in the block property management sector (such as collection, budgeting, cost control and P&L management).
  • Knowledge of key industry compliance expectations, legislation and best practice.
  • Experience of contractor and supply chain management of £multi-million projects or contractors.
  • Operated within a regulatory environment with insurance services experience at a senior level.


Preferred:

  • Property Management experience.
  • Background of delivering change in the property sector
  • Experience of managing multi-teams providing various services.
