The Role:nWith ambitious growth plans, eQS is expanding its development team. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to accelerate the production of our high-quality software. You will play a key role in bringing our products to new markets and integrating complementary companies into our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :nDevelop and maintain web and desktop applicationsnEngage in all development cycle stages: design, acceptance criteria, development, QA, and continuous integrationnContribute to backlog stories and review acceptance criterianPerform software design, coding, testing, code reviews, and unit testingnMentor junior developersnParticipate in regular meetings with internal customers
Essential Skills :nExtensive experience in software developmentnProficiency in the Microsoft .Net web stack:nC# .Net Framework & CorenT-SQLnLINQ and Entity FrameworknJavaScript, HTML, CSSnIISnWorking knowledge of PHPnIn-depth knowledge of relational databases (especially MS SQL)nStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsnUnderstanding of object-oriented programming techniquesnAbility to work well under pressure and prioritize effectivelynExperience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (Azure & AWS)nRelevant Computing/Software qualification or appropriate experiencenBeneficial Skills / Experience:nExperience with Git / Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2019/2022nKnowledge of JQuery, Windows Forms, MySQL, MS Power BI reportingnFamiliarity with managing Linux/Apache web stack and Bootstrap front endnSector experience in technology and/or education
