Job DescriptionnAssistant Warehouse Shift Manager - Afternoon ShiftnGranthamnShifts Sunday - Thursday 15:00 - 23:30nSalary £33,821 Plus great benefitsnThe main purpose of the role is to assist in implementing warehouse plans for the operation to meet current and future customer service requirements and continually improve cost efficiency and quality of service.nThe role:nDay to day management and planning of the shift operation, ensuring standards and targets are metnManaging and motivating a team of personnelnStaff utilisation and rota planningnStaff recruitment and retention – train and develop direct reportsnFocus on Staff EngagementnHealth & Safety & Legal obligationsnCustomer ServicenCommunicationnThe person:nExtensive people management experience, including discipline and trainingnExcellent communicator at all levelsnSound understanding of all areas of multi-temperature warehouse operationsnFlexibility with working hours including weekend cover) and active agent for changenIn addition, you should demonstrate initiative towards making positive improvements and attention to detail as well as being able to work under pressure and to deadlines.nYou will be resilient – able to stay positive in difficult situations and you will naturally embrace an inclusive working environment and be committed to doing the right thing.nIn return, you’ll enjoy job stability and benefits such as:nSubsidised hot meals via our staff canteen
