The main purpose of this role is to support the implementation of warehouse plans to meet current and future customer service needs while enhancing cost efficiency and service quality.
The Role:
- Responsible for day-to-day management and planning of the shift operation to meet set standards and targets
- Leading and motivating a team of personnel
- Managing staff scheduling and rota planning
- Handling staff recruitment, development, and retention
- Focusing on enhancing Staff Engagement
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and legal requirements
- Prioritizing Customer Service and effective Communication
The Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in people management, including training and discipline
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Solid understanding of various aspects of multi-temperature warehouse operations
- Ability to be flexible with working hours, including weekend coverage, and drive positive change
