Job Description
In this role you willnAct as a data subject matter expert for our new data platform, supporting business users and IT colleagues.nWork with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and document them at an appropriate level. Once agreed then translate these into stories and tasks for development.nUtilise specialist knowledge and experience of business areas, products and systems to ensure effective and innovative technical solution design.nWork with QA colleagues to support the robust testing of changes.nPlan and facilitate requirements elicitation sessions such as workshops and 1-to-1 interviews.nConduct system prototype demonstrations to validate requirements.nAssist the digital product manager in facilitating the prioritisation of business requirements.nYou should apply if you havenSolid understanding of business analysis concepts, methods and practices in an information technology environment.nGeneral and London Market Insurance domain experience.nExperienced in defining data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse.nSolid understanding of agile delivery methodologies.nStrong oral and written communication skills.nStrong problem-solving skills.nAbility to influence others to improve processes and application quality.nNice to havesnGreenfield Data Warehouse build experience highly desirable.nSome experience using JIRA or similar agile tools.nSolid understanding of SQL and ability to use SQL tools to query a database to retrieve data.
