Quality and Compliance Supervisor
Are you ready to take the lead in quality assurance? We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team and oversee the supplier approval process. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing industry. In this role you will be responsible for managing the quality of all the products coming in.
Package:
Full-time (8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday) on-site role.
25 days holiday per annum (plus bank holidays).
Competitive salary: £35k – 45k.
Role Overview:
* Oversee supplier approvals and documentation.
* Design and monitor quality specifications and audits.
* Manage customer notifications, approvals, and non-conformances.
* Conduct risk assessments and provide training.
* Support HACCP, VACCP & TACCP teams.
* Compile and report audit findings and ensure compliance.
* Use QMS system.
Core Competencies:
* In-depth understanding of quality requirements and standards in the food industry (FSSC, HACCP, VACCP).
* 4+ years of experience in a Quality, Technical, or R&D role in the Food Industry is desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
* Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
