Gaining the opportunity to work with an established FMCG business, who provide an exceptional level of service to an impressive portfolio of customers, the position of Site Services Supervisor will manage a team with yard Health & Safety at the forefront.
Working closely with the Facilities Manager and opposite a colleague on shift, this opportunity will supervise a team (c5 on shift) to ensure the outside yard area meets Hygiene and Health & Safety standards through a positive and effective team approach.
Key responsibilities include;
Management of recyclable waste streams (segregate and compact in accordance with Company Policy)
Completion of daily cleaning schedule, maintenance and accuracy of cleaning records
Loading / Unloading vehicles that are collecting / delivering site biproducts
Work to company cleaning schedules for designated areas
Adherence to set standards; BRC, HACCP, PIU, COSHH
  
Requirements;
Experience of supervising a team, in a hands-on, facilities focused position
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Hygiene expectations (BRC, HACCP, PIU, COSHH)
Work involves using MHE equipment, lifting and carrying weights in excess of 20kg, and lifting boxes up to / in excess of two metres.
Driving licence required, with experience of driving MHE equipment.
  
Salary: c£33k
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7.00am - 7.00pm
Location: Essex, commutable from Kent and Essex
