Production Accountant | Theatre Scale Up | London | £40,000–£50,000 Harmonic is delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most exciting live entertainment companies in their search for a Production Accountant. The Business They are a leading international live entertainment and theatrical production company, producing large-scale touring shows and musicals that reach audiences across the UK and globally. With a headcount of c.200 employees and turnover in excess of £50m, they are a fast-growing, dynamic business that has successfully combined creative excellence with commercial scale. The finance function is a close-knit team of 6, led by a highly supportive Finance Director with a passion for professional development. The culture is collaborative, down-to-earth and lively — reflective of the creative industry they operate in. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to build their career in a creative, high-growth environment. Working closely with the Production Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the financials across multiple productions, supporting producers and the wider commercial team. Key Responsibilities Preparing production budgets, forecasts and cashflows Monitoring actual vs budget performance and investigating variances Overseeing cost reporting for live shows and tours Business partnering with producers and production teams to provide financial insight Assisting with month-end close and management reporting Supporting the Finance Director and Production Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis What We’re Looking For Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or QBE Prior experience in a media, entertainment or creative business Strong Excel and financial modelling skills Excellent communicator, able to translate financial information for non-finance colleagues A genuine interest in live events, theatre or the creative industries Salary £40,000 – £50,000 Location: Central London / Hybrid (2 days WFH).
