We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bath. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom, contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, providing one-on-one support to students as needed
Help prepare classroom resources and materials, ensuring a stimulating and organised learning environment
Support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and English as a second language (ESL)
Foster positive relationships with students, providing encouragement and reinforcement of learning objectives
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyRequirements:
Previous experience working in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Enthusiasm for supporting the educational and emotional needs of students, with a patient and nurturing approach
