Homeless Prevention and Assessment Team Leader

As the Homeless Prevention Team Leader, you will have direct responsibility for guiding and managing a team of Homeless Intervention and Prevention Officers, Tenancy Relations Officers, and Visiting Officers. Your primary focus will be on delivering effective and efficient homelessness prevention services, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to continuous improvement in homelessness prevention services.
Act as the deputy for the Homelessness Intervention and Prevention Manager.
Provide guidance, instruction, and leadership to ensure cross-team effectiveness.
Implement operational service plans and drive service improvement projects.
Ensure responsible expenditure on temporary accommodation.
Develop strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Provide effective line management to the team, supporting staff through change.
Ensure accurate recording of casework in data management systems.
Requriements
Must have at least three years statutory homelessness experience
Expedrience working in housing association or councils
Experience managing a team of officers
Proficiency in data management system
Contract
Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
PAYE via Umbrella
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
