Salary Range £50,000 to £60,000 Per Annum + Package
**Salary negotiable on relevant experience/level**
Our client, a specialist Rail & Civil Engineering Contractor, is currently looking for Site Agent (CRE) to join their team on a permanent basis, overseeing Station Building & Civils Asset Maintenance works.
This role will entail delivering projects on the Asset Management Framework, ensuring the successful delivery of works on multiple projects, up to the value of £2Million per project.
As Site Agent / CRE, you will oversee the daily management of projects, responsible for project delivery with industry standard, regulations and within contract conditions.
Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
Ensuring successful delivery of works including programme, HSQE, commercial and reporting etc.
Completing works to required quality standard and within contract stipulations.
Internal staff and External subcontractor management.
Monitoring of progress vs programme.
Liaising with Contracts Manager and Commercial staff regarding workload/changes/progress.
Successfully candidates will ideally:
Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction, or similar (Such as a Degree/HNC).
Be approved as CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer).
Have previously worked as a Site Agent on Rail Asset Maintenance projects such as Stations, as well as rail civils, such as bridges, embankments, platforms, tunnels, structural steel installations etc.
Ensure self-delivered works are completed as well as managing subcontractors.
Have experience delivering multiple projects for a contractor, typically valued between £500K - £2Million, including but not limited to:
Groundworks, embankments, structures and structural steel, rail bridges, tunnels, stations and platforms etc.
Relevant qualifications including SMSTS and CSCS Card. Additional qualifications advantageous.
Commercial and programme understanding, including Strong knowledge of HSQE regulations.
