Pay: from £77.40 per day.
Hours: 8.30am – 3pm
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Caldicot. The main responsibilities for the role will be working 1:1 with a student with challenging behaviour. The pupils ages range between 11-16. This is a role in which you will build close bonds and build relationships with the pupils. As a Teaching assistant the use of sports will play a large role in your everyday routine with the pupil. This can range from football, tennis, rugby, gym work and basketball just to name a few.

Roles
Work with groups of children with challenging behaviours, providing them with support, guidance, and advice.
Develop and implement behaviour management strategies, in line with the school's policies and procedures.
Monitor and record the progress of the children, providing regular feedback to parents, teachers, and other professionals.
Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals to discuss the progress of the children.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS clearance, registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
EWC registration (or willingness to apply).
Ability to provide two recent references.
Right to work in the UK.
Safeguarding Level 2 (provided free of charge by Teaching Personnel).
Teaching Personnel will provide step by step help on the above if needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
