To achieve this, our 7,500 Switchers combine their historical engineering expertise and project management with digital technologies.nIn our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.

Job Description

Play your part in the construction ofHinkley Point C - two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain, providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes.nRole responsibilities and likely background:nReporting and accountable to the PMO & Delivery Commercial Lead.nWorking with the PMO Commercial function and the i-PMO Project Controls Director.nInterface with all functions to update the control budget and provide cost advice.nExternal interface will be required with several stakeholders including the Client and Delivery Partners.nIdeally will have contributed to development of specialist process or procedures or drafting of industry relevant articles or publications for their specialist field.nProject responsibility for:nMaintaining the Control BudgetnDeveloping Control Budget ToolsnEAC reporting, trend analysis from Affordable BudgetnCosting change from Handover 1 design to Handover 2 design and recording movement from Affordable Budget.nEnsuring latest design information is available to Site Performance Reporting Teams and PlanningnSupporting i-PMO (MEH programme wide) Project ControlsnInterface with Client governance

Qualifications

Qualifications:nDegree Qualification (or Equivalent) - Ideally within a construction related subject, but not essential.nCan achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
