Sustainability Consultant – Up to 60k + Fantastic Benefits
Location: Central London
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join an established design consultancy based in the heart of London.
Our client is a leading engineering and environmental consultancy providing multi-disciplinary services to the property, infrastructure, energy, sustainability and environmental markets around the world.
Due to an increasing and diverse workload an opportunity has arisen for a sustainability consultant to join their growing property sustainability team.
Based in central London, the successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of existing projects in the property, education, healthcare, waste, energy, carbon, net zero and building certifications.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Write sustainability statements and technical reports to support planning applications

Manage proactively the delivery of sustainability strategies post-planning

Provide practical advice on sustainability best practices and innovations to influence project teams internally and externally

Develop building certification strategies and pre-assessments

Co-ordinate evidence collection and review in line of assessment submissions

Devise and support the implementation of net zero strategy for buildings

Monitor projects and progress against sustainability objectives and targets
Requirements and skills:
Candidates for this role will have relevant work experience

A degree in an environmental or engineering discipline, preferably to master’s level

An ability to provide a holistic approach to sustainability in the built environment.

Expertise in undertaking whole life carbon assessments

Technical knowledge or strong interest within one or more areas of sustainability ‚BREEAM, WELL, SAP and IES modelling

Desirable to have knowledge of One-Click LCA

On-site construction experience (desirable)
