GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic Pastoral Workers to work in school settings in Chesterfield.
Job Summary: Pastoral workers play a crucial role in supporting the overall well-being and development of students. Their responsibilities encompass a range of tasks aimed at addressing the social, emotional, and academic needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional and social support to students.
Develop and implement programs to enhance students' personal and social development.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students' needs.
Address and manage pastoral issues, including behavior and attendance concerns.
Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:
Experience in a pastoral or similar supportive role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping young people.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Relevant qualifications in education, counselling, social work, or a related field are desirable.
