We are looking for a Technical Lead to help shape the future roadmap of the Data Platform. You'll be a hands-on developer building out framework enhancements with optimise the Data Platform for current and future usage. You'll also help shape how we grow our Data Engineering service, providing mentorship to new engineers.

My team works across all functions in Quilter, and you'll get the opportunity to work with experienced data professionals and help shape how we deliver our data services going forward.

As a Power BI & Power Platform Specialist you will provide subject matter expertise in the given technology product, to ensure the solution operates effectively.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, system analysis, system design and assist with user-testing, and will seek opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation of technology products.

In this role you will also provide first line support for user queries on Quilter technology products, data and applications functionality within the assigned business area. Importantly, you'll partner with your assigned business area to understand new technology scope and its alignment with any new functionality and security.

You will also troubleshoot and support system issues as and when they arise, and track incidents and requests to ensure service deliver meets Quilter's business unit requirements.

You'll have the opportunity to create, maintain, and communicate procedural guides and knowledge-based articles for both team and stakeholder use.

Ideally, you will have extensive experience within a defined product or specific industry process, along with a product or business analysis qualification.

You will communicate confidently and effectively at all levels and be self-motivated with excellent planning skills.

Your high level of attention to detail and analytical mindset will enable you to make data driven decisions in an agile manner and execute them quickly.

You will have experience in the following
  • Power BI
  • Code development experience including Github and Power BI pipelines
  • Data experience including data models /star schemas
  • Training and upskilling juniors
  • Can work independently of a challenging task to find a way forward
