Senior Presales Consultant – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Location: UK (Remote-first with occasional travel) Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Industry: Finance Technology – Performance Management Software What is the role and company? A fast-growing finance technology vendor in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space is seeking a Senior Presales Consultant to join its UK team. Backed by significant private equity investment and with further funding rounds anticipated, the company is scaling rapidly across EMEA and beyond. This is a strategic role within the solution engineering team, focused on helping prospective customers navigate their challenges around consolidation, planning, and reporting. You’ll be part of a high-performing international team, working closely with sales, product, and consulting colleagues to deliver compelling, value-driven solutions. What will I be doing? As a Senior Presales Consultant, you will: Lead solution design and demonstrations for prospective clients, tailored to their specific finance and performance management needs Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technology solutions Collaborate with sales teams to shape proposals and influence buying decisions Deliver engaging presentations and product walkthroughs that highlight business value Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to strategic account planning Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, drawing on your consulting and implementation experience Work closely with product and delivery teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and solution capabilities Contribute to internal enablement and knowledge sharing across the EMEA presales team What profile will I require? Required: Proven experience in presales within the EPM or CPM software space Prior background in consulting or implementation of performance management solutions Strong understanding of finance processes including consolidation, planning, and reporting Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Skilled in storytelling and articulating business value through technology Fluent in English Must have the right to work in the UK Preferred: Experience working in a high-growth or PE-backed technology environment Familiarity with tools such as OneStream, CCH Tagetik, Anaplan, SAP BPC, or similar platforms Exposure to international clients or multi-country implementations Ability to work independently in a remote-first setup while collaborating across teams Why should I take this role?
