About this role
We're excited to have an opportunity in our Finance cost team for a fully qualified cost accountant. This role sits within the FP&A team and reports into the Finance Manager for costs. In this role you'll support two key areas: (1) Finance Business partnering and (2) Month end close & reporting.
Role Requirements:
Support production and explanation of financial results to business partners, including monthly variance analysis and headcount reporting
Work with business owners to generate accurate forecasts
Review and assess ad hoc financial requests from the business including management of headcount
Perform ad hoc deep dive analysis on business areas focused on operating efficiency
Support month end close process, through journal management & oversight
Improve automation by working with our finance systems team on new uploads and reporting templates
Skills & Experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with demonstrable post qualified experience, some of which within FP&A or equivalent.
Strong reporting and analytical skills e.g accurate and timely reporting and commentary, spotting potential errors or adjustments
Exposure to US GAAP.
