What you will be doing as a Senior Reliability Engineer:
- Leading and mentoring the Reliability Technician team, ensuring their work aligns with production goals, engineering requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Driving the continuous improvement of equipment reliability and availability by leading Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) activities.
- Collaborating closely with Planning and Maintenance teams to meet Maintenance Excellence objectives.
- Playing a pivotal role in the implementation and refinement of our group standards, acting as a key supporter for Maintenance Managers.
- Identifying and applying advanced tools and techniques for improving maintenance practices and reliability outcomes.
- Championing Root Cause Analysis processes, providing guidance and coaching to ensure effective problem-solving and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for:
- A time-served Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification (e.g., HNC in Electrical Engineering or an apprenticeship in Automation/Controls).
- Strong technical experience within high-speed manufacturing environments, including knowledge of Maintenance Excellence tools such as FMECA.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team toward shared objectives.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems, and drive improvements through teamwork and collaboration between Engineering and Operations.
- Familiarity with utilities (gas, water, high-pressure boiler systems) and safety/environmental legislation.
- Strong IT skills, including experience with PC-controlled machinery, preventative maintenance systems, and SAP-based stores.
- Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to creating a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace.
