My client is an Interior Fit-Out contractor who specialise in Commercial Design and Build Projects. They have an excellent reputation in the delivery of CAT A and CAT B office refurbishments and a lot of their workload is secured from repeat business.
Due to a strong order book to work, they are looking to strengthen their Operational team with the appointment of a high calibre Site Manager who has a strong background in commercial refurbishment projects.
Reporting into a Senior Project Manager, the position will be site based and you will be responsible for the safe and profitable delivery of projects under your control, ensuring these projects are completed to the satisfaction of the company and their respective client.
Successful candidates will need to be self-motivated, dynamic and driven with good inter personal skills.
You will be asked to have a proactive role in management of site productivity, project progress deadlines, budgets and sub-contractors.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and effectively manage all subcontractors and labour on Site
Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
Attend weekly site meetings with Contracts Manager, sub-contractors and clients
Liaison with clients and the management team in striving to achieve good standards of quality
Monitor projects to ensure they have the correct resources to be completed on time and to the required standard
Oversee and maintain health and safety requirements on site
Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessaryRequirements:
Possess a strong track record of delivering CAT A & CAT B fits out
Possess suitable H&S qualifications including First Aid, CSCS and SMSTS
Possess good leadership and motivational skills.
