Job Description:
 
As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site service and support for our range of forklift products across the East Midlands region. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining forklifts to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the client to address their technical needs and deliver solutions that enhance their operational efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of forklift models.
Respond to service calls in a timely manner, providing high-quality support to minimise downtime.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance according to company standards and client requirements.
Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper equipment use and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and inventory.
Collaborate with the sales and support teams to identify opportunities for service improvements and product upgrades.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies during all service activities. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Field Services Engineer or similar role in the forklift or machinery industry.
Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands region.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are a plus. Whats on Offer?
