We are seeking a pro-active Facilities Manager who is eager to grow with the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management working with commercial property assets.

Role Overview:nThe Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of our co-working spaces across multiple locations. This role involves overseeing building operations, managing vendor relationships, conducting statutory compliance reviews, and implementing best practices to enhance the overall workspace experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Operations Management:nOversee day-to-day operations of all co-working spacesnEnsure all facilities are maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness, safety, and functionalitynManage the scheduling of routine maintenance, repairs, and upgradesnAssist with the openings of new locations, working alongside design and construction teams throughout the projects

Health and Safety Compliance:nConduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessmentsnEnsure all statutory compliance requirements are followed and recordednReview and oversee all fire safety requirements including drills and evacuations for all sitesnKeep up-to-date with changes in legislation and update policies and procedures accordinglynMaintain records of compliance activities and ensure all documentation is current and accurate

Vendor and Contractor Management:nNegotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providersnMonitor the performance and quality of work provided by contractors to ensure high standards at all timesnEnsure all contractors comply with health and safety regulations and company policies

Budget Management:nManage the facilities budgets across all sites to ensure spending is efficientnTrack expenses and ensure cost-effective operations across all spend linesnIdentify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements

Member Services:nAct as the primary point of contact for members regarding all facility-related issues, working towards the quickest possible resolutionnEnsure a high level of customer service and promptly address member concerns and requests, working collaboratively with the Community Teams

Qualifications and Experience:nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Facilities Management or a related field preferrednMinimum 3 years’ experience in facilities management, preferably within a co-working or commercial real estate environmentnStrong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and statutory compliance requirementsnExcellent organisational and project management skillsnStrong communication and interpersonal skillsnAbility to take ownership, manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
