About us…
The newly formed Totally Urgent Care Division, is a leading provider of national urgent care and out of hospital services following the merge of Vocare and Greenbrook, who are the leading provider of primary care led urgent treatment centres across London and the surrounding areas, leading innovation in this field to deliver and continuously improve high quality patient focused care.
Our urgent treatment centres are designed to see, treat and discharge or refer both walk-in and ambulatory patients whose injuries or illnesses are not so serious as to need full emergency department care.
About the role…
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Streaming Nurses to join our team at Kings College Hospital UTC. Applicants will work primarily in Streaming and will play an integral role in clinical decision making, ensuring that patients are assessed promptly and directed to the right place for their healthcare needs.
Successful candidates must have experience of ED, UTC, or primary care and work within their professional boundaries. There is potential within this post to develop your skills and knowledge and become an ENP by joining our successful training programme after one year.
As a Streaming practitioner you will work alongside a wider team of ENPs, GPs, HCAs, ECPs, and operational staff to deliver unscheduled care to patients that present with complex and/or chronic illness and injuries.
You will undertake assessment of wide array of patient presentations to determine which clinician is most appropriate for the healthcare needs of our patients.
Qualifications, Experience & Training…
- Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration OR Registered Paramedic with current HCPC registration
- Educated to degree level
- Experience in, UCC/WIC/ MIU
- Strong clinical leadership skills
