About The Role:
The company are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their dynamic team. This role involves precision work, including crimping, soldering, and assembling a wide array of cable products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in all production outputs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assemble cables and wire harnesses according to specific drawings and specifications.
* Perform crimping and soldering tasks to secure connections and ensure functionality.
* Inspect and test cables and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols.
* Document production details and report any issues to the production supervisor.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment.
* Keen attention to detail and a focus on quality.
* Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
