Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Imam (Minister of Religion) to join our organization. As a Lead Imam, you will play a vital role in leading and guiding our religious community. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering sermons, conducting religious ceremonies, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a sense of community among our members.
Duties
* Deliver sermons and lead congregational prayers.
* Conduct religious ceremonies such as weddings and funerals - Provide spiritual guidance and counselling to individuals and families.
* Management of religious education classes along with teaching and lead study groups: Organize and lead community outreach programs and events.
* Collaborate with other religious leaders to promote interfaith dialogue and understanding.
* Participate in community services.
* Maintain records of religious activities and manage administrative tasks related to the role.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills to effectively convey religious teachings and principles.
* Ability to educate and inspire individuals through sermons, lectures, and counselling sessions.
* Proficient in public speaking to engage and captivate audiences during religious services.
* Strong knowledge of religious texts.
* Ability to provide emotional support and guidance to individuals facing personal challenges or crises.
