Assistant Imam

Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Imam and to join our organization who will assist the Lead Imam. As an Assistant Imam, you will play a vital role in assisting the Lead Imam in leading and guiding our religious community. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Lead Imam in ensuring the effective operation of the Mosque in all aspects of the activities undertaken in accordance to the wishes of the Trustees.
Duties
* To assist the Lead Imam to ensure that the Mosque (Centre) operates in accordance with the Trust Policies and Procedures.
* To assist with the supervision of activities and projects undertaken by the Mosque.
* To assist with all aspects of the administration and management of the Centre.
* To assist the Lead Imam with all religious activities and ceremonies.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills to effectively convey religious teachings and principles.
* Ability to assist in the educating and inspiration of individuals through sermons, lectures, and counselling sessions.
* Proficient in public speaking to engage and captivate audiences during religious services.
* Strong knowledge of religious texts.
* Ability to provide emotional support and guidance to individuals facing personal challenges or crises.
* Ability to generate new ideas and initiatives to promote the centres activities.
