Metrology Programmern6-Month Contractn£250 per daynSurreynI am urgently looking for a Metrology Team member to join one of the UK's leading automotive manufacturers, to ensure high-quality standards in component measurement and contribute to the precision and performance of our vehicles.nThis contract allows you to join the Metrology Team and engage in critical areas of quality assurance, including component measurement, dimensional accuracy verification, and comprehensive reporting of measurement data.nResponsibilities:nPrepare car body structures for measurement.nMeasure car body structures using the GOM Scanbox 8160 according to pre-written programs.nVerify the dimensional accuracy of car body structures.nNotify the supervisor or team leader when products fail to meet standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:nMechanical engineering background, preferably with experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.nExperience using Catia V5.nEssential experience in using and programming CMMs with GOM Inspect software.nKnowledge of Polyworks and PCDmis software is advantageous.nExperience using portable measuring equipment such as Faro and Romer.nCity and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification is advantageous.s
