Position Overview:


The Senior Native English Copywriter will be responsible for crafting clear, persuasive, and engaging content across a variety of formats, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, landing pages, product descriptions, and social media posts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B SaaS writing, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives.


Key Responsibilities:


Core Copywriting Skills:

  • Produce high-quality, engaging content tailored to B2B SaaS products, with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and persuasive language.
  • Create content across multiple formats, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, landing pages, product descriptions, and social media posts.
  • Translate technical product features into compelling narratives that appeal to B2B audiences.
  • Write copy for various stages of the SaaS buyer’s journey, including awareness, consideration, and decision stages.
  • Implement SEO best practices, optimizing content for search engine visibility while maintaining readability and engagement.
  • Utilize AI tools to support content ideation and development processes.


B2B SaaS Domain Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the SaaS industry, including key terms, trends, and buyer personas.
  • Write for both technical and business audiences, simplifying complex product features and value propositions.
  • Develop content strategies tailored to SaaS-specific needs, such as product onboarding, customer success, and retention.


Strategic Content Development:

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
  • Create user acquisition copy that drives conversions, including CTAs, gated content, and landing page copy.
  • Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop authoritative and insightful content.


Technical Skills:

  • Manage content within CMS platforms, such as WordPress or HubSpot, ensuring proper formatting and publication.
  • Use content marketing tools, such as Grammarly, SEMrush, or Yoast SEO, to enhance content quality and optimize for SEO.
  • Conduct keyword research and incorporate findings into content to drive organic traffic and engagement.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of copywriting experience, with at least 3 years focused on B2B SaaS content for a self-serve product.
  • B2B SaaS Expertise: Demonstrated experience producing impactful content tailored to B2B SaaS products, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Content Strategy: Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and drive user acquisition.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content marketing tools.
  • SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices, with experience optimizing content for search engines.
  • Remote Work Experience: Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing deadlines and deliverables independently.


Soft Skills:

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present content ideas and strategies to stakeholders.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving abilities, with a flexible approach to handling different types of content projects.
  • Collaboration: Effective collaboration skills, working across teams like marketing, sales, and product, despite being remote.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • UK Market Knowledge: Familiarity with UK B2B SaaS market nuances, including tone, style, and customer expectations.
  • International Experience: Experience with UK-based businesses or international SaaS companies targeting UK audiences.
  • Startups & Scaling Companies: Experience writing for tech startups or scaling companies is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Native English proficiency, with an excellent grasp of UK English.
