Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit a number of experienced Plater/Assemblers for our client based in Wallsend.
Please note this contract work up until 2028.
Applicants must be time served or relevent qualifications.
Day shift and back shift available.
44 hours per week, 38 standard, 4 overtime.
Your most important tasks
* You have the ability to work with drawings and composition drawings.
* You take responsibility of the assembly of structures.
* You can assemble 3-dimensional parts and sheet metal.
* You can bond assembled parts.
* You are efficient in grinding and burning.
* You can work with the overhead crane.
Our ideal candidate
* Has several years of experience as an assembler.
* Lives within the North East of England and can reliably commute to Wallsend.
* Has had technical training.
* Has a thorough knowledge of welding.
* Can read and understand working drawings and sketches.
* Has a strong sense of accuracy, responsibility and safety.
