This hybrid position will involve working from our clients Taunton site office, various project sites, and remotely from home. (Gloucestershire - South West, Somerset - South West).
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading improvement works in Somerset, where you will independently manage the commercial aspects of various projects.
* Collaborating closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in compliance with contractual terms.
* Supporting the achievement of business plan commitments through effective commercial management.
You will collaborate with a team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals committed to delivering projects for local authority clients.
About You:
You are either an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking advancement or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor. You possess expertise in NEC contracts, particularly option 4, and have a proven history of managing and delivering projects within set deadlines in a civil engineering context.
You'll Bring:
* A history of consistent success in Quantity Surveying, managing multiple large-scale projects.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Comprehensive knowledge of cost performance monitoring and contract administration.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with teams.
You'll Receive:
