Stress Engineer

for the Stevenage site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic team shaping the future of aviation and space systems.nResponsibilitiesnDefine and validate strength and stiffness requirements as per project specifications.nConduct structural analysis to achieve optimal mass design meeting the defined requirements.nDevelop a detailed plan for structural testing to verify compliance with strength and stiffness targets.nMonitor tests, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports to demonstrate adherence to requirements.nSkills RequirednRequires 5 years of pertinent experience.nProficient in utilizing both external and internal software tools.nPossess a strong grasp of analysis techniques for predicting strength and stiffness in lightweight structures, encompassing classical hand analysis and computer methods like finite element analysis (FEA) and pre/post processing software.nUnderstand the actual costs associated with different methods and tools, with experience in MS Office and MSC Nastran.nThis is an excellent opportunity to work for an international company that encourages and facilitates personal growth.nPS: The Company can't provide any sponsorship, so only candidates with the existing right to work in the UK will be considered for this role.nPlease apply or share your updated CV at email:
