As a Senior Partner or Partner in one of our Kent or Sussex insurance agencies, you’ll quickly become a principal figure in an established team, using your strong people skills to forge new commercial alliances and build long lasting relationships to help grow an already successful business in this ever-evolving sector.

Your experience and commercial flair
Working alongside existing partners, you’ll be part of your agency’s leadership team and a catalyst to growing the business at pace. Combining your agricultural background and leadership skills, you’ll create bespoke insurance solutions that meet the needs of the fast-changing agricultural world.
The continuing diversification and modernisation of agriculture in the South East provides you with a great opportunity to thrive in this incredible sector. You’ll achieve this by using your strong track record as a business leader and direct experience of managing large, high-profile accounts to drive results and innovate your team. You’ll also drive business growth beyond farming, tapping into local hotspots of High Net Worth and SMEs across a range of sectors.

Rewards and support
As a self-employed Senior Partner/Partner and Agent of NFU Mutual, your earnings are based on the performance of the agency and a share of the profits. However, this is a self-employed opportunity with a difference. Unlike most business ventures which demand start-up funding or venture buy-ins, our model requires zero capital investment.
With further opportunities and growth expected in the agricultural sector across the South East of England, your energy, drive, vision and personal ambition are the only limit to your future earning potential.
We’ll set you up for success. You’ll benefit from the NFU Mutual support services you need to build a sustainable, profitable insurance business. This support includes sales, marketing, business insurance, financial planning, team recruitment and risk management services.
NFU Group Secretary
One of the other aspects of this opportunity is being appointed an NFU Group Secretary. You’ll be the voice of the Union, bringing the agriculture community together and sharing best-practice and policy updates. With full backing from the NFU, you’ll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership numbers to marketing and media. In this role you’re supporting the needs of all active members in your locality, helping to grow the membership and opening doors to future business opportunities for your agency.
