A London-based alternative investment firm are looking for an analyst to grow as part of their operations team – the fund was launched in the belief that systematic strategies in the Fixed Income/Credit Index spaces remain relatively unexplored. This opportunity sits directly with the Head of Operations and one associate, giving unrivalled exposure to front and middle office functions in a nimble and agile business function with an AUM of >$1bn. Responsibilities include booking cashflows and trades in their PMS, running post-trade reconciliations, confirming OTC trades (including novations and unwinds) using ICE Link and/or Tradeserv, running daily margin calculations and internal fund valuation estimates. The successful candidate will have strong Python and quantitative skills to help develop internal task-automation systems, alongside the BAU responsibilities above. 1-5 years’ experience working in credit derivative markets in an asset manager or investment bank is preferred but the line manager is largely agnostic on asset class coverage. Given the firms recent growth, this is considered a key hire internally and will be remunerated accordingly.
