Job Purpose:

As a member of the Executive team, you will be based at Seal Bay, one of the UK's largest holiday parks. The position requires leadership in driving the sales strategy across all of Cove’s holiday parks through managing high-performing sales teams, executing strategic sales initiatives and building strong sales pipelines. The role involves overseeing negotiations, fostering customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth customer transfers to ownership teams. The role aims to develop long-term partnerships and maintain company standards in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:


1.     Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies across all of our Holiday parks to drive home sales
  • Meet company objectives and market demands through promotion and sales initiatives
  • Engage in proactive prospecting, identifying key stakeholders to fuel new business
  • Cultivate enduring owner relationships by addressing their unique needs
  • Together with General Managers and the Revenue team, constantly monitoring results, adjusting strategies and activities to make sure objectives and targets are met
  • Manage inventory effectively, working to maximise profit margins while maintaining a robust stock pipeline
  • Ensure all financial transactions related to sales are transparent, efficient, and in line with company standards
  • Establish KPIs and sales targets, regularly reporting to the executive leadership team on performance
  • Define and communicate strategy
  • Identify and implement brand standards that are included in all communications


2.     Team:

  • Lead and inspire the team, ensuring they are performance-driven and aligned with company values.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing nationwide sales team.
  • Provide the team with the necessary tools, processes, and guidance to maximise their sales potential. Ensure appropriate training and development of the sales team to maintain a high level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Employ proven sales techniques to motivate the team, enhancing customer relationships and boosting revenue.
  • Set clear targets and opportunities, regularly monitoring sales metrics to assess performance and refine strategies.
  • Optimise national sales efficiency through strategic planning and effective team coordination.
  • Promote a positive team culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence across all parks.
  • Work closely with the sales administration team to ensure smooth processes from sale to customer onboarding and transfers to the owners’ team.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to unlock new sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment with business goals and the seamless integration of sales initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies across all parks to drive home sales


3.     Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, the competitive landscape and to establish annual unit and gross-profit plans, adjusting pricing strategies as needed.
  • Manage the sales budget, forecasting monthly and annual quotas for regions and territories to achieve sales objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging new developments to identify and seize fresh opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies and capitalise on opportunities.


Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 7 years of proven experience in a multi-site senior sales leadership role, (within the Park Home Sales Sector is a plus).
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a record of accomplishment of motivating and managing high-performing teams in achieving sales targets.
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects and consistently meeting sales quotas.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer experience and team development.
  • In-depth knowledge of competitor analysis and market trend identification.
  • Ability to articulate the company’s value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of sales operations, training, and managing customer transfer processes.
  • Relevant qualifications/experience in Sales and Sales Management.
  • ISM Membership or equivalent professional accreditation.
