Introductory Paragraph:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Site Manager to work on a contract basis with our client, who operates within the food sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing underground civil works, steel erection of high-level platforms, installation of white walling and flooring works as well as installing new production lines.
Job Responsibilities:
- As a Civil Site Manager you will manage all aspects of site operations including safety management systems
- Supervise contractors during construction activities.
- Ensure that projects meet quality standards set by clients,
specifications documents or other project requirements
- Strong Health and Safety knowledge
- Collaborate with different departments such as engineering teams
regarding design changes
Qualifications & Skills Required:
To excel in this role you should have;
* Civil Site Manager Experience
* Food Background
* SMSTS (or related field)
* Experience working on large industrial sites specifically experience handling complex facilities installations ranging from heavy equipment foundations through structural frames up until finishes is essential.
* Strong communication skills both oral/written effective team player
* Proven track record supervising multiple sub-contractors simultaneously
while maintaining tight schedules
This is an exciting opportunity offering £400-£450 per day rate and is a 6 month contract.
