What You’ll Do:
Microsoft Technologies Management:
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Group Policy, Microsoft Certificate Services, SQL, and PowerShell.
- Oversee on-premise Exchange Servers with a focus on optimal performance and uptime.
Virtualization and Storage Management:
- Administer VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon, Aria, and Cloud Foundation environments.
- Handle backup and recovery with Veeam Backup, Exagrid, and HPE.
Security and Confidentiality:
- Drive our security initiatives, participating in penetration tests, and enhancing protocols to protect our data.
- Manage Proofpoint for email security and support business continuity strategies.
Infrastructure Maintenance and Optimization:
- Keep our Dell server infrastructure in top shape with regular updates and maintenance.
- Implement best practices for system administration and infrastructure management.
User Support and Collaboration:
- Deliver exceptional support to users, troubleshooting issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures.
What You Bring:
Education and Certifications:
- A degree in Computing or Engineering, with formal certifications in Microsoft Server and VMware vSphere technologies.
Experience:
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft technologies and on-premise Exchange Servers.
- Proven track record managing VMware environments and backup solutions like Veeam.
Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and VMware administration.
- Proficiency in backup and storage technologies, with knowledge of Okta and RSA as a bonus.
