Job Title: Play and Learning Facilitator
Location: Chichester
Hours: Part-time or Full-time, Weekdays, 3:00 PM - 6:15 PM (Days negotiable)
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
About the Role:
Do you have a talent for organising fun and educational activities? I am working with a school that is launching a new after school club in the Chichester area and I need a dynamic individual to coordinate and lead sessions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creating engaging experiences for children and wants to be part of a new, growing program.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead a group of 16 children through structured and free-play activities.
  • Implement the pre-planned schedule while introducing your own creative ideas over time.
  • Maintain a safe, organized environment where children can explore and learn.
  • Prepare and distribute snacks, catering to different dietary needs.
  • Promote a sense of belonging and cooperation among children.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in environments like schools, nurseries, or sports clubs.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills.
  • A proactive, positive attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Due to the school's location, having your own transport is advised.
  • Pediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A clear and current DBS check.
