Pay: £12.86 - £13.02 per hour
About the role
I am currently seeking a Teaching Assistantto work in a specialist school to support children with additional needs such as autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will be required to work with small groups or 1:1, supporting children with a range of ages and levels of learning.
Prior school or SEND experience is desirable but you do not need any qualifications.

This SEND school is based in the Salisbury area. They support diverse group of pupils with a range of complex learning needs, disabilities and challenging behaviours.
The school is looking for a Teaching Assistantwho thinks on their feet, is reliable, willing to go the extra mile and build positive relationships with students. Alongside this having a fun and energetic personality.
Start date: asap
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 8.30am to 3.00pm
Wednesday 8:30 – 4:00pm
This will become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Requirements
The ideal Teaching Assistantwill:
Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.
Be enthusiastic and reliable
Have good communication skills
Be patient and resilient
Hold, or be prepared to pay for an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service.
