Quantity Surveyor
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor based in the Woodford, Essex office. This client is a well-known business with a great reputation across the new build, refurbishment, and maintenance sectors.
This role is to work across multiple projects, 5 days a week in the office working closely with the senior QS and commercial manager. The team is currently working closely on education projects but has many residential contracts upcoming.
Responsibilities for QS
Reporting into seniors
Usual QS responsibilities
A positive and determined attitude
Working from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts
Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts
Pricing, and managing change and variations.
Site meetings and negotiations with client
Requirements for QS
5 days on site
Wants to progress
Residential and social housing background
With over 900 staff it would be easy to think you could become just a number in such a large, successful organization, however this is not the case With a heavily involved owner, you get out what you put in.
