Permanent, Part Time (0.6) The School of Creative Industries at Kingston College is seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised and effective course leader to drive forward the Level 3 aspect in Digital Art, Animation and Games Design. You will have a skilled understanding, and the ability to teach and create tutorials, on a range of software and hardware includingsome or allof these programmes: Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3D Studio Max, a range of Game Engines, the Adobe suite including: After-effects, Animate, InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, plus: skills in using 3D printers, Green screens, HD video/still cameras, motion-capture VR is preferable. You will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and, if necessary, liaise with external verifiers/moderators and co-ordinate the review and evaluation of courses. As our Lecturer/Programme Leader, we would like you to hold relevant qualifications to degree level or higher, hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and participated in recent and relevant continuous professional development. With a thorough understanding of what makes for excellent evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment in your field, you will have a strong record in delivering high quality learning programmes with demonstrably good outcomes. With a keen awareness of future developments that influence this curriculum area, you will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting at-risk learners to achieve or exceed their potential. You will be a hardworking and flexible individual with high personal standards and expectations with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and good attention to detail.
