Job Description

What will you be doing?nWe are seeking an

Electrical Engineer

to join our team in

North Devon , 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in electrical wiring design, power management systems, power routing, and cable management. Previous experience in the

defence

sector is highly preferable. The candidate ideal must be

SC clearable

(Been in the UK for 5 years or more, and not left for 3 months or more at any one time).nYour main responsibilities will be:nDesign and develop electrical wiring systems for naval platforms.nManage power management and routing systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation.nOversee cable management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into naval platforms.nProvide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.nConduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of electrical systems.nPrepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.nWho are we looking for?nSC Cleared or SC ClearablenYou are...nPassionate about engineeringnResult-orientednProactive

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:nMinimum of

4 years

of engineering experience with a background in electrical.nBachelor’s degree

in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Master's Preferred)nProven experience in electrical wiring design, power management systems, power routing, and cable management.nPrevious experience in the

defence

sector is preferred. (Not mandatory)nStrong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.nProficiency in using electrical design software's.nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.nSC clearable (Security Check clearance) .
