MANE are currently recuiting for and Electrical Production Technician for our Aerospace client based in Cambridge.
Overview
Work collaboratively across production areas to meet electrical requirements, ensuring production deadlines are met efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various production teams to meet deadlines.
Manufacturing: Produce electrical harnesses, components, and control modules.
Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections of electrical assemblies.
Installation: Install electrical components into units.
Aircraft Galley Fitting: Fit electrical components in aircraft galleys.
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
Target Achievement: Meet established production targets.
Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and are built correctly on the first attempt.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Health & Safety standards consistently.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
Production Flow Optimization: Ensure efficient production flow and suggest improvements.
Issue Escalation: Escalate issues to line management as needed.
Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to comply with quality and safety regulations.
Knowledge, Education, and Skills
Knowledge:
Experience in a production environment.
Electrical experience (3 to 5 years in aerospace preferred).
Proficiency in IT with working knowledge of MRP systems.
Education:
Time-served apprenticeship with an electrical focus preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
High regard for Health and Safety standards.
Open to feedback and contributes to a positive team environment.
Additional Requirements
Flexibility to work at other sites as needed.
Willingness to work the necessary hours to achieve production goals.
