Business Development Manager - Automotive
If developing business within OEM's is your bread and butter then look no further. This tier 1 have increased their capabilities with a new facility in the Midlands to bolster their offering to the Automotive and Aerospace OEM's. This position will offer you autonomy with hybrid working 2/3 days a week, a car for your road trips to see your clients and a healthy bonus structure to ensure you're well rewarded for the results you achieve.
The opportunity;
As the Business development manager you'll be tasked with building on the company's existing strong reputation and leveraging this to open the door with new customers. You'll be working autonomously so will be able to plan your own diary as you see fit but there will be reassuring support of the commercial Director and the MD who are both hands on commercially. Customers could vary from prestigious high value supercar manufactures, Off highway OEM's to Aerospace OEM's, so you'll be doing business with some high flyers and prestigious brands.

They have a long history at the top level of the Motorsport industry and are now using their capabilities to supply into wider industries such as EV, Aerospace, Off-highway and Commercial vehicles. They pride themselves on their engineering capabilities, which will only add to the appeal to your future customers.
What will you need;
This role requires someone who is a true business development specialist, so you'll need to have experience of;
Turning new cold leads into warm buying customers
Previous technical/engineering environments
Industries such as; Motorsport, EV, Aerospace, Off-highway or Commercial vehicles
