Developing prototype for manufacturability, testing and validation is also a big part this role.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

Ability to organise and manage own workload
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Degree/HNC or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline or sufficient relevant experience.
Appreciation of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and/or Precision Tooling manufacture and supply.
Time served in engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
Experience in dealing with both customers and suppliers, ideally the Space/Aerospace industry, however other manufacturing sectors or general mechanical / project engineering backgrounds can be considered.
Experienced in technical documentation writing
Ability to learn and use company systems and software including standard Microsoft office products.
A good understanding of MGSE and close tolerance tooling manufacture and design philosophies
Experience of PDM systems, such as Windchill
Don’t meet every single requirements? Studies have shown women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
